Researchers examined the comprehensive ThinkRx cognitive training program in children ages 6–18 using pretest and post-test cognitive assessments and a matched control group.
What Did Researchers Find?
Treatment group membership was a statistically significant predictor of outcomes in long-term memory, logic and reasoning, working memory, processing speed, auditory processing, and Word Attack. The treatment group showed greater gains in six of seven cognitive measures.
Matched-control design rather than randomized controlled trial.
