What Did Researchers Find?
The two groups did not differ significantly on most cognitive measures. A significant difference was found on long-term memory, and the researchers concluded the two delivery models were largely equivalent for the outcomes examined.
The study focused on equivalence between delivery methods rather than whether cognitive training outperformed a no-treatment control.
